For breakfast, have poached eggs and smashed avo on sourdough, buttermilk pancakes with blueberries, or ‘The Full George’? Work your way through our delicious menu, served from 8am to 10am every day of the week.

Happy Rye Fawkes! 🔥
Over ten thousand people are expected on the streets of Rye tonight to watch Bonfire Societies from across Sussex in a parade, which ends with a big bonfire and fireworks display out on the Salts.
The Ryebellion Drummers and Scorcher the Dragon will lead the procession, which kicks off at 7pm.
Please note that due to high crowd numbers at the procession the George is only open to residents, restaurant diners and Dragon card holders; anyone looking to visit the George on Bonfire Night needs to bring their Dragons card to enter the building.
We hope everyone enjoys this special night in the Rye calendar! Thank you to the organisers for managing this huge operation, made possible from donations alone.
