“I know a bank where the wild thyme blows, Where oxlips and the nodding violet grows…”
Sabina & Matheus beneath the bower, surrounded by flowers, family and friends, ready to begin their next chapter together.
On these long midsummer evenings, we’re reminded that love stories deserve a little enchantment – and there’s no more enchanting place to say “I do” than in the magical town of Rye and the charming and historic George hotel @thegeorgeinrye
Dreaming of your own fairy-tale wedding? We’d love to help bring it to life.
Words could never explain how wonderful, magical and unbelievable you made our wedding day. From the very first day we came and saw The George, we knew this was the place for us.
From the morning of the wedding, we did not have to think about a single worry, plan arrangement or table setting
Anna, you made me feel like the only bride you have ever had, and that I will forever be thankful for. You put me at such ease and made us both feel in the safest of hands.
Elton, you are the man behind the scenes making dreams come true. The table took our breath away and your attention to detail is unmatched.
You are both a powerhouse dream team and The George is so fortunate to have you both. You are both what makes the place so wonderful and special.
Thank you for absolutely everything you and your teams did for us. We will never ever forget this day.
Mr & Mrs Carley ♥
All our love, always – Jasmine & Bradley xx “
WELL - we HAD to share this GORGEOUS thank you note from the very much in love Jasmine and Bradley - THANK YOU BOTH. This means the WORLD to us.
Lots of love, Anna, Elton and everyone at The George
This Friday we’re flashing back to Natalia and Will’s Wedding when the groom and a gang of guests went for it!
“While Nat was getting ready at The George, Will and a large group of guests made the short drive down to Camber Sands for a pre-game swim. Despite it being June, it was pretty brisk and – from what I could tell – required a healthy dose of courage. Will, naturally, led the charge.
Will is English and Nat is half-Russian, half-Ukrainian. The ongoing war added real poignancy to their day, with several family members unable to attend and one appearing by a very emotional video call. Weddings often sit at the confluence of joy and heartache, and I’ve rarely seen that balance so clearly embodied as I did here.”
