The George in Rye is a magical place to be at Christmas. We are snuggled right in the centre of Rye’s old town, so you will be in the heart of the local festivities and never far from a warm welcome back to your Christmas home from home. We’ve created a two-night package that takes care of everything short of wrapping the presents, and if you want to stay in the holiday mood a while longer, you can add on extra nights either side at a very special Santa price***!

Our two-night festive package, for the nights of December 24th and 25th, starts at £475 per person, based on two sharing a Cosy Room (for room upgrades, please see rates below **)
The price includes the following :
Christmas Eve
Check-in from 3 pm.
A warm welcome at reception with mince pies and sherry.
Spend the afternoon exploring Rye or simply relax in one of The George’s sumptuous lounge areas or bar and finish any last-minute wrapping in your room!
Join us for dinner* in The Grill with a selection of local specialities such as Rye Bay fish and Scottish Aberdeen Angus beef.
An option to attend Midnight Mass at nearby St Mary’s, our local C12th church, after which mulled wine will be served in The Dragon Bar.
Christmas Day
Enjoy a hearty English breakfast in The Grill to set you up for the day.
From 12:30 start your traditional Christmas lunch with a complimentary glass of fizz before sitting down to a festive feast served with all the trimmings.
In the customary habit of perpetual snacking, dinner will be a buffet served from 7:00 pm.
Boxing Day
After a leisurely breakfast, check out at 11:00 am

**The following upgrade rates apply to the 2-night package in different categories:
Upgrade to Classic room – (total of £525pp)
Upgrade to Superior room – (total of £575pp)

***The package can be extended to 3 or 4 nights on either side of the 2-night package, with bed and breakfast, rates will start from £95 per person per night depending on room type.

50% non-refundable deposit taken at time of booking. Remaining balance to be paid 12 weeks prior to arrival. Cancelation at any time will result in the loss of the deposit. Deposits are non-transferable, non-moveable and non-refundable.
