If you are interested in the sense of smell and perfume, we would love for you to join us for a very special one-off event at The George at 7.30pm on Friday 14th October. This is a highly decadent evening dedicated to the most special and elusive of senses – and not just for the girls, we might add!

With the feel of a wine tasting, A Scented Journey Around the World will transport you out of Rye and to a series of exotic locations, using the power of an intriguing perfume: from the medinas of Morocco to the shores of the Meditterranean. With drinks from the bar, lots of sampling, and an interactive lecture, the evening is hosted by Odette Toilette of London’s Scratch+Sniff events. Rye’s very own Violetta boutique have instigated the evening and will be providing some wonderful fragrances.
