Foodie Package at The George in Rye, East Sussex

Gastronomic package hotel sussex kentOur Foodie package gives you the opportunity to enjoy the finest food and wines (many from England) that The George Grill

offers - we've timed the launch of the package to coincide with the arrival of wonderful Spring and Summer produce that's coming to us from the farms around Rye. We have developed two menus, the seafood or meat taster menus as shown below, whereby one menu is selected and shared by a minimum of two persons. Starting with a glass of Kir Royal Anglais (compliments of our local vineyard, Chapel Down), you will share a delicious grill menu that celebrates the local area.

Available from Sundays to Thursdays, the menus run in conjunction to our Midweek Package, which includes dinner on one night - with a supplement of £35 per head for either the seafood or meat grill taster menus below. To include wines to match, add a further £40 per head.

It is also available on Fridays and Saturdays at the normal full price that is added to your room bill, that is, £60 per head for either menu per head, and an additional £40 per head to include wines to match if desired (or £100 per head including food and wine).
