Events is an exciting part of the hotel’s operation. As a member of our events team you may be responsible for selling events or supporting them.
The Events Manager takes responsibility for all sales activity in respect of weddings, banquets, private dining and conferences. You will conduct show rounds for prospective clients and follow up on leads. Working closely with the guest to ensure that everything is to their satisfaction, you will also work with other hotel departments to ensure that all aspects of the event are communicated and delivered in a way that exceeds expectations. You will need excellent written and verbal communication skills and will be self-motivated and enthusiastic. You will be well-organised and have excellent interpersonal skills.
The Events Operations Manager is responsible for all aspects of delivering the event, including setting up, organising staffing, service during the event and clearing away at the end. The Events Operations Manager works closely with The Events Manager.
